The answer to yesterday's question....
I've turned pro.
I started the process this summer, went and got all the paperwork
submitted, came back with my passport, came back another time with
my "original Social Security card" and finally I think,
its all good to go.
I'm getting paid to take pictures.
Now Jimmy worked for the DAILY Planet.
I on the other hand, have landed a sweet position on....

The DAILY LOBO
So my first big assignment was to go out with a reporter who was
asking the Daily Lobo question
of the day.
I'm going to be rich.
Can you believe it.
I think I get like maybe 3 bucks each for these photos. Black and
white, inside page, but hey, there are 5 of them here.
And if I get a color shot on the front page, TEN DOLLARS!!!!
Isn't that sweet? No starving artist stuff for this guy, nosireebob!
I'm going to start ordering camera equipment right and left.
Meanwhile, for my photo tip of the day - get out from behind the
camera.
It's kind of my signature style, especially when taking pictures
of people - compose, hold the camera steady, and poke your head
around so that the person you are taking the picture of looks at
your goofy face and not the camera.
Works especially with kids, worked with the adults here as well.
People get much more natural when you move out from behind the
camera.
