We don't see things as they are, we see them as we are. Anais Nin
When I started this web site back in the late 90's digital cameras had not come to their own and the web had just under 10 million web sites.
Many of the photos that I have had posted over the years have now become lost in billions of images that have become the froth of the web.
With hundreds of millions of phones having cameras, many people find themselves in the right place at the right time with some kind of equipment. Sometimes it is best to be lucky.
I have decided to remake these pages focusing on places most people won't get to, or places and things that I find unique, many of which are only reachable by foot, on skis or snowshoes.
I also plan to showcase images that take a bit more time and effort than just pointing and shooting.
