Out of the mountains, we crossed the great inland sea of agriculture that is California and arrived on the coast. I was really hoping for some opportunities to shoot the wildlife, but the fog bank was hanging on the edge of the islands where the seals and sea lions had congregated.
So images of the wild sea will have to do.
When I have a chance I’ll make some kind of flash movie of some of the waves – as I shot in fast succession.
After wandering through the park taking photos we headed down the coast to Big Sur, stopping here and there to look back and shoot the views.
Lunch was marvelous and then we shopped for a bit in a gift store but the highlight was sitting on the balcony having a late afternoon cup of tea.
Dinner was marginal – and I had this cough that attacked with a vengeance. Tried to knock it out with a hot toddy with with only limited success.
