Supermoon over Albuquerque"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I happened to be driving home yesterday from the fix-it store and remembered that it was the &#8220;Supermoon&#8221; weekend, prompted of course by a giant rising full moon over the mountains. \u00a0Unfortunately there was a rather thick layer of high cloud that obscured the moon so I put it out of my mind until later in the evening when I walked outside to turn off the water feature in my back yard.<\/p>\n<p>Looking up I suddenly remembered and dragged out the big lens and set up the tripod. \u00a0Since it was a couple of minutes after midnight, these photos belong to today. \u00a0I then set my phone alarm for 5:45, a good half an hour before the moon was to set over Albuquerque.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/nsrider.com\/oldBODblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/06\/supermoon1.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-1414\" alt=\"supermoon1\" src=\"http:\/\/nsrider.com\/oldBODblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/06\/supermoon1.jpg\" width=\"934\" height=\"709\" srcset=\"https:\/\/nsrider.com\/oldBODblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/06\/supermoon1.jpg 934w, https:\/\/nsrider.com\/oldBODblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/06\/supermoon1-300x228.jpg 300w, https:\/\/nsrider.com\/oldBODblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/06\/supermoon1-768x583.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 934px) 100vw, 934px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>I included this next shot to show the relationship between the &#8220;zoom&#8221;
