{"id":904,"date":"2012-01-30T23:25:58","date_gmt":"2012-01-31T04:25:58","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/nsrider.com\/blog\/?p=904"},"modified":"2025-03-12T06:24:38","modified_gmt":"2025-03-12T06:24:38","slug":"photos-of-the-day-1-21-2012","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/nsrider.com\/oldBODblog\/2012\/01\/30\/photos-of-the-day-1-21-2012\/","title":{"rendered":"Photos of the day 1.21.2012"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Bit out of sequence, since I should post an article about my daughter&#8217;s film showing on Friday nite, but the photos are not as good as the story, so I&#8217;m posting from our Saturday jaunt on the Manhattan Beach.<\/p>\n<p>There was \u00a0a big wind and I took about 20 minutes to try and get a couple of shots I liked.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/nsrider.com\/oldBODblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/01\/mbeach1.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-905\" title=\"mbeach1\" src=\"http:\/\/nsrider.com\/oldBODblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/01\/mbeach1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"934\" height=\"709\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>These are not bad seeing as how I&#8217;m using my wife&#8217;s new replacement pocket camera since my Nikon travel lens decided to quit last night in the middle of my daughter&#8217;s show. \u00a0I brought it along for the show and the grand daughter&#8217;s birthday which was the next day, Sunday.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/nsrider.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/01\/mbeach2.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-2417 aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/nsrider.com\/oldBODblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/01\/mbeach2.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"484\" height=\"634\" srcset=\"https:\/\/nsrider.com\/oldBODblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/01\/mbeach2.jpg 484w, https:\/\/nsrider.com\/oldBODblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/01\/mbeach2-229x300.jpg 229w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 484px) 100vw, 484px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>I picked the travel camera because it did have a fully manual function and reviewed well. \u00a0My travel camera has bit the dust, the lens got full of dirt and it&#8217;s not worth the repair costs since the manufacturer (Panasonic) won&#8217;t cover the dirt as a warranty item. \u00a0Don&#8217;t buy Lumix.<\/p>\n<p>Success here in my opinion.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Bit out of sequence, since I should post an article about my daughter&#8217;s film showing on Friday nite, but the photos are not as good as the story, so I&#8217;m posting from our Saturday jaunt on the Manhattan Beach.
