It's so hard to believe that the boy has only 3 more weeks of school
and then it's all over.
Finished with High School, off to college.
I'm here to tell you, that's going to be a sad moment, especially
because so much of our identity over the past 10 years has been
tied up with watching.
And no, I'm not at all interested in watching grandchildren, thank
you very much.
Three weeks, and the sound it makes is that of a roaring freight
train on a still night.
I can't believe it's almost over.
Soon enough, they all enter the races of life.
But anyhow, just after I decided to write this entry, my brother,
who just got a new scanner, sent me a couple of images taken over
30 years ago when I stopped in England to visit with him on my way
home from the Middle East.
After he sent me the photo, I returned to him the one you see there
above.
I told him that one thing was for sure, that the boy did not those
thighs from me.
