I got a reminder in a note tonight that it’s been an even longer time since I’ve made an update here.
It’s not for lack of trying. I actually wrote an entry about skiing in the Sandias in the regular side of this site, and when I did that I had to spend a bunch of time fixing some problems with the core site. It seems that the comment engine that was embedded into my text had gone kaput. There was a hand-off to another paid service but I’m not in the mood to pay any more for this site and the way it was formatted, it goofed up the layouts of some of the pages.
Therefore I spent an entire day fixing and uploading and by the time it was done, I was done and only did the one quick entry.
I am going to try and catch up.
But in the meantime – a couple of images of Arizona wildflowers.
We drove to Phoenix over Easter weekend so that we could watch the boy and give the kiddies a break to celebrate my daughter’s 30th birthday.
I have a daughter 30?
Oh my, I guess I’m getting old.
But thanks to lots of water this spring in the desert, the flowers bloomed.
And this group. while not winning any awards for composition and the like, at least shows off all of the color on the side of the road.
And let’s not forget this one, just a slightly different view of the current splash view on the website.
