Ok, so I’ve got the pages on this new theme all set up and linked up – that is until the menu drops some of them. So if the galleries will work, this will be a go – otherwise it’s back to plan B, which is the old blog style and the flash galleries.
And here is a link to the larger file as well.
I’m trying out a new premium WordPress theme which I really like, but I can’t seem to get to work. I’ve spent almost two full days on this and am betting very frustrated.
So this is supposedly the first “post” of the new theme. Now it won’t edit properly, the galleries won’t upload and I’ve officially abandoned the new “theme”.

Too bad, because I thought that the interface was way cool. Too bad it’s a busted product. The vendor says the problem is with my web host. I suppose that’s possible, since it seems to work well on other sites. Meanwhile I’ll look for alternatives until my subscription expires on this host next year.
Arrived in Geneva in the early morning, caught the train to Montreau and this is the first shot I took in Switzerland as I was walking to our apartment that we found on VRBO – a $75 per night efficiency that overlooks the lake.

We had free flights and Mrs. had gotten there a couple of days before. Later that afternoon we crossed the lake and walked around the lovely little town of St-Gingolph that is partly in France and partly in Switzerland.

We caught the paddle wheel on the way back.

Finally, the sun decides to set and we see the Alpen glow on the other side of the lake. I was very surprised at how late the sun set in Montreux. Looking it up on google earth I saw that Montreux is as far north as Sault St. Marie in Michigan which explains the late sunsets in the summer.
