It’s about time.
I looked in the archives and found that I have no photos in June, 10 series in July and 10 series in August. Then there are a couple in September, and one or two in October. And that’s that, that’s all you get. I can’t believe that I have not had a single July image – but at least the process has started.
Although it’s not a great shot, it is interesting to me because of the sequence inside of the image. What you have here are three different strikes, the one in the foreground is about 6 miles away, the one in the background is about 11 or 12 miles away and the third image, with the loop, is an air-to-air strike that never hit the ground.
There have been quite a few storms in July with lightning, quite a few I’ve seen outside of my office window. The only problem is that they have all moved on by nightfall.
